HR Policy Structure

There are many factors which determine the quality of a HR policy and one of the fundamentals is its structure - how you set it out.

In the attached image, I’ve tried to capture the key sections you should include to give your HR policy a good structure. There are other key sections I’d also include, like a glossary or a list of definitions, the effective date, the review date, the document owner and when and how it was approved - and likely others depending on the subject of the policy.
